When we were originally planning Laci's maternity session we had a few locations in mind, however on the day of, due to weather and Covid hours we had to change our plan last minute. Laci was so easygoing and suggested we do the shoot in Montreat which was close to where her and her husband were living at the time. I had never spent much time in Montreat, but she told me there was a lake and a beautiful hotel, and I was sure we could get some great pictures.
It ended up being absolutely magical! Between the rich greens of mid-summer, Laci's beautiful pregnant glow (and her gorgeous dress), and the amazing backdrop I felt like I had stepped into a fairytale. Laci and Chris were so much fun to shoot with and let's be real, Laci is a straight up GODDESS. I was so happy I was able to capture these sweet moments for them!
