I'm Hannah, and I'm an intimate wedding, elopement and portrait photographer based in the beautiful Green Mountain State! I grew up in rural Northern California and have landed in VT after spending several years outside of Asheville, NC (where I met my husband and where we got married in 2019). I've always loved photography, and spent many hours of my youth poring through an old chest of family photos, relishing in the way you could travel back in time through photographs.

While I didn't get serious about photography until my mid 20's, I enjoyed taking photos of anything and everything with my little trusty point and shoot throughout high school and beyond (shout out to my Nikon Coolpix), and later doing fun shoots with my friends and a few paid gigs with my first DSLR. I was also a generally "artsy" kid growing up, always collaging, drawing, singing and writing poetry. It helped that my mom is an incredible artist and art teacher, so I'm sure that contributed to my love of all things creative (check out her work here). I also attended a Waldorf School (IYKYK) from 3rd-8th grade which heavily utilizes the arts in the curriculum. Shout out to my fellow Waldorks! :)

When I first took a more serious plunge into photography around 2017, I never thought I'd end up photographing weddings. As someone who's suffered from pretty bad anxiety most of my adult life, and who considers herself fairly introverted, the thought of being responsible for documenting something SO important, felt like way too much pressure. And yet, here I am years later, and I truly can't imagine doing anything else! Nothing brings me more joy than capturing the happiest moments of people's lives, it is an absolute honor and privilege. Let's make some magic together!
