I met Juliana through her dad who is a regular at the local coffee shop. At the time I was taking a little break from shooting weddings and spent the summer baking gluten free goodies for a local farmers
market. Her dad told me about her own GF home bakery business and suggested that we meet! Not only is Juliana an incredible gluten free/dairy free baker (go check her out here) but she is also an incredibly warm, kind and all around lovely person and friend.
I was so honored and excited when she reached out to document her wedding to her long time partner Jacob! They decided to do a two part celebration: an intimate wedding ceremony with their closest family and friends and a gorgeous private property in Cabot, Vermont followed by a catered dinner by Salt Bistro, and a larger "reception" the following day hosted at their close friends' property.
The day of the ceremony was a typical cloudy Vermont June day with a possibility of rain. And while there were some showers earlier in the day, the rain stopped just in time for their outdoor ceremony and held off until later in the evening. The ceremony took place in the most quintessential Vermont setting, complete with a covered bridge crossing a small pond, gorgeous rolling green hills and mountains in the distance. You really couldn't ask for a more perfect backdrop!
